Your ERP should not be an island.
ZakERP connects.

Most companies already run more than one system: a global ERP at head office, accounting software, a CRM, bank portals, attendance devices. ZakERP is built to join them, so work that starts in one system is finished in another, with nobody retyping anything. We proved it with one of the most widely used cloud ERPs in the world, Oracle NetSuite, and the same design reaches the other systems your business already relies on.

Proven with Oracle NetSuite Open standards: REST · JSON · OAuth · SQL Two-way, fully audited

1. Open by design

Every serious business system today speaks the same small set of languages: web APIs that exchange JSON, token-based sign-in, and SQL for reporting. ZakERP speaks all of them. That single fact is what turns "can our systems talk?" from a year-long project into a planned piece of work with a clear finish line.

REST + JSON

Create, read, update and look up records in the other system through its published web API.

OAuth & tokens

Signed, revocable access, with no shared passwords, using the sign-in method the other platform prefers.

Query languages

SuiteQL, OData and SQL, to pull exactly the rows a report or a decision needs.

Scheduled sync

A built-in job engine runs each connection on its own timetable, with a history of every run.

Send queue

Outgoing work waits safely until the other side answers, so a network outage costs nothing.

Files & imports

CSV and Excel for systems that have no API at all, with the same audit trail.

2. Proven with Oracle NetSuite

A construction and real-estate group in Dhaka runs its people, attendance and leave in ZakERP, and its purchasing, finance and projects in NetSuite. Their Managing Director works mostly in NetSuite, so they asked for something that sounds simple and is not: let a leave application that starts in ZakERP be approved in NetSuite, and bring the answer back.

That is exactly what now happens. The employee applies in ZakERP, the supervisor, head of department and head of HR approve in ZakERP, and at the Managing Director's step the request appears in NetSuite with Approve, Return and Cancel buttons, an email, and a count on his Reminders. His decision flows back into ZakERP, completes the approval in his name, and the employee is told.

  • Approve in NetSuite: approved in ZakERP, balance updated, employee notified.
  • Return with a note: back with the employee in ZakERP, note attached, ready to correct and resubmit.
  • Cancel with a reason: closed in ZakERP with that reason on record.
  • Administrator decides in ZakERP: the NetSuite copy is withdrawn automatically, so there is only ever one answer.

Every path passed on live systems, and the whole integration was built, tested and cleaned up in a single working day. Delegation works as the company expects, too: when the Managing Director hands his approvals to a colleague, those requests stay in ZakERP for the delegate.

3. How a request travels

ZakERP on your own server • work starts here • local approvals • hand-over step • decision applied • people notified ZakERP Connector signed API calls send queue · scheduled sync self-healing retries Oracle NetSuite or the ERP you run • record created • approver alerted • decision taken • record locked • marked as synced
Out and back, with nothing typed twice. Each system keeps doing what it is best at.

The hand-over

In ZakERP an approval chain is configuration, not code. One setting on a level says "this step is decided in the other system". The request is then placed in a send queue, and the ZakERP task stays in the approver's name for a complete audit trail.

The send

The connector delivers everything the decision-maker needs to decide in one screen: who, what, when, the reason, the remaining balance, who has already approved, and a direct link back to ZakERP. Each request carries a unique key, so it can never arrive twice.

The decision

The other system handles the decision in its own familiar way. With NetSuite, that is a native workflow with buttons for the named approver only. Who approves is a single setting, so handing responsibility to someone new takes seconds.

The return trip

The connector collects each decision, completes the work in ZakERP, and only then marks the other side as synced. The connection needs no way in from the internet, and a missed moment is picked up on the next cycle.

4. Systems ZakERP can join

NetSuite is the first platform connected end to end. The same connector design works with every major business system that publishes an API, which today is almost all of them:

PlatformHow ZakERP connectsStatus
Oracle NetSuiteREST web services, SuiteQL, token-based authentication, SuiteCloud projectsLive, proven
SAP S/4HANA · SAP Business OneOData and REST services (Service Layer for Business One)Connectable
Microsoft Dynamics 365Dataverse / Business Central web APIs with OAuth 2.0Connectable
Oracle Fusion Cloud ERPREST APIs and scheduled data extractsConnectable

Salesforce · HubSpotCRM REST APIs for customers, leads and ordersConnectable
Banks, payment and SMS gatewaysTheir APIs or file formatsConnectable
Your in-house or legacy systemsDirect database views, SQL or scheduled filesConnectable

"Connectable" means the platform publishes the interface ZakERP's connector is built for. Each connection is shaped around your own processes and switched on for your company.

5. What you can connect

Leave approval was the first story. The connector is general, so the same foundations carry any business object across:

Transactions

Requisitions, purchase orders, bills, payments, sales orders and journal entries, raised on one side and approved or posted on the other.

Master data

Employees, vendors, customers, items and projects, entered once and kept in step everywhere.

Custom records

Whatever your company has built for itself, such as bills of quantities, asset logs or site records, handled like any standard record.

Approvals

Any ZakERP approval level decided in another system, or another system's approvals brought to the people who live in ZakERP.

Reporting

Figures from the other system inside ZakERP's reports and dashboards, next to attendance, payroll and stock.

Linked records

Every mirrored record links to its twin, one click away.

6. Two systems, never out of step

Connecting systems is easy. Keeping them in agreement every single time is the craft. These rules are built into every ZakERP connection:

Built-in ruleWhat it gives you
One owner per fieldEach piece of data has exactly one home, so the two sides can never contradict each other.
A unique key per requestRetries and resubmissions never create duplicates.
The right person, verified twiceOnly the named decision-maker's answer is accepted, and both systems check it.
Withdraw before overrulingAn override on one side automatically retracts the request on the other.
Confirmed deliveryA decision is marked as collected only once it is safely saved.
Self-healing retriesIf a system is unreachable, the connector waits and tries again, and the administrator is alerted once, not flooded.
A complete audit trailEvery hand-over and decision is recorded on both sides, with who acted and where.

Staff always know where a request stands: every approval record in ZakERP shows a coloured status beside its title (Pending Approval, Approved, Returned or Cancelled).

7. Security you can explain to your auditor

  • Signed, token-based access. Every call is cryptographically signed, no password travels, and access can be revoked in one click without touching anyone's login.
  • Least privilege. The connector signs in with a dedicated integration role that can reach only the records it needs.
  • Secrets stay on your server. Credentials live outside the application and outside source control, and never appear in a log or on a screen.
  • No new doors. ZakERP reaches out to the other system, so an integration never adds a new way into your ERP.
  • A master switch. Any connection can be paused instantly, and ZakERP carries on handling everything locally.
  • Changes managed as code. Everything added to the other platform is version-controlled and validated before it is installed.

8. From idea to live link

  1. Map the process. Where each record starts, where it is decided, which details travel, and what happens on return, cancel and override.
  2. Prepare the other platform. Records, permissions and workflow, validated and installed safely in test mode.
  3. Switch on the hand-over in ZakERP. The queue, the scheduler, the retries and the audit trail are already in place, so this step is configuration.
  4. Prove every path, then go live. Approve, return, cancel and override on real systems with test data, then one switch puts it into daily use.

Because the foundations are already built and proven, each new connection is focused on your business rules, not on plumbing. That is why our first one went from question to tested integration in a day.

9. Questions people ask

How quickly do decisions arrive?
Within about two minutes by default, which is right for approvals that wait for people. The timetable is set per connection, so a flow that needs to move faster can.
Do we have to change how we use our other ERP?
No. Your team keeps working in the screens they already know. ZakERP adds a record and a workflow that feel native to that platform.
Does ZakERP replace our global ERP?
It doesn't have to. Many companies keep a global ERP for group finance and use ZakERP for local operations, people and approvals. The connector lets both do their best work together.
What if the internet goes down?
ZakERP keeps working on your own network. Anything waiting to be sent or collected is picked up automatically when the line returns.
Which system should we connect first?
Start with the step that costs you the most retyping or waiting. We will help you map it in a single conversation.
